Our Committee
Public relation Committee
The Public Relations committee of TASA is responsible for reaching out to other student organizations to coordinate collaborations and outside businesses to negotiate benefits for TASA members. TASA’s members can enjoy discounts at certain restaurants in downtown State College thanks to the Public Relations committee.
THON Committee
The THON committee organizes TASA activities related to the IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon at Penn State. In the past few years, TASA’s THON committee has organized canning events and dessert sales to fundraise for THON.
Production Committee
The Production committee records and publishes TASA events. They are responsible for preserving the memories made at these events. Is there a camera pointed at you at a TASA event? That’s probably the Production committee at work.
Activity Committee Committee
The main task of the Activity Committee is to organize various events for TASA members and different collaborating organizations throughout the year. Our major events include Welcome party, New Year Event, THON fundraising, Football stand, Basketball tournament and Sport Day. The goal of these events is to provide opportunities for our members to collaborate with each other and to promote Chinese cultures. While the members of the Activity Committee all pursue different majors, they are all passionate in the organization of events.
